A&P Seal Beach Pier attempts

    Tried to take some pics w/ some "emotion", went fishing at the pier so brought my camera. Was very limited on space which is why there is a big black wall on the right.

    Ruby's Diner off the pier

    D80, 18-200mm VR

    Did you take the picture because you've seen other pictures like this and you felt that you are somehow obligated to try to take a picture like this because that's what "artsy fartsy" photographers do...

    or

    Did you take this picture because you actually were legitimately interested in taking it and thought that it looked cool, or that it means something.

    well i was acutally just going to go fish that night and take photos of our catches (didn't have my pns with me), but when i was putting on the bait while turned around, it looked like something i would want to take a picture of.

    i wasnt' trying to be "artsy fartsy" haha

    Well, your building is falling over, and there's not really anything interesting to look at.

    Wider angle (from a different angle) and corrected angles (no more gravity defying lights) might have helped.
