as long as they are both bt v1.0 or greater they should. make sure that the earpiece is in the right set up mode when you make the phone try to detect bt devices

I dont think there is any setup modes for the earpiece. The instructions only said to turn on the earpiece and then use the scanning mode of the phone to look for device. I put the phone and the earpiece literally 2 inches away from each other but still the phone does not detect it....

there should be a set up/detect mode for the earpiece. on my jabra you have to hold down the power button for 5 seconds, then make your phone search for devices

I don't think you read the instructions very well...
    full charge it.
    close mic.
hold down talk button for 8-10 seconds until light turns blue and stays on
    flip open mic.
    search on phone.
    enter 0000 as password.

After you pair the phone and headset, you can turn off the visibility or else it'll start the beginning of bluejacking haha.
