    OS: Windows 7

My laptop's onboard display adapter sometimes hangs, where everything works just fine, but the brightness of the LCD screen cannot be adjusted using the Function keys. The only way to fix it is to open up Device Manager, disable the display adapter, and enable it again.

I feel this will happen often so does anyone know how to make a batch file that can do just that? Disable the Intel Mobile display adapter and enable it.

Loading up Device Manager all the time and going through the process gets frustrating.

Anyone know how to use Devcon to get the hardware ID for the display adapter?
