This is more of a programming question. I am looking to find some program that can build or possibly build myself a screensaver that needs to run some form of animation(could be anything, nothing elaborate) but I need it to trigger an exe to run in the background as well. This isn't for anything malicious its to run a neural network program while the computer is idle. Does anyone know of any place that I could learn to do this or of any available applications that could make a screensaver like this?? I've checked tons of screensaver builder programs and don't see anything where it has an option to launch a background exe. I'm sure its pretty easy to do but I am completely new to windows programming :hs:

A screensaver is a regular windows program that sits on top of all other windows and has its ".exe" extension replaced with a ".scr" extension. You can make one in whatever language you like, change the extension to ".scr" when you compile it, and load it up in Display Options.
