Stupid fucking gf decided to cross her legs while sitting, and put a couple of nice scratches in the dash. Its a ford focus... so pretty cheap material :hs:

Is there nothing I can do about it? Anything to minimize?

    Not really.

  3. Get her a pedicure; it'll prevent future scratches :) .

    2 big helpers here.

Anyways, what's the dash made of? Is it vinyl, hard plastic, shiny hard plastic, etc?

What do you want me to do, lie to the man? Tell him it can be fixed when it can't?

You may be able to find a vinyl repair kit but I doubt you can make it look perfectly new again. :dunno: Never tried to fix a dash before.

is it plastic? If so, try using a heat gun very carefully. Heat up the surface enough so that the plastic seaps back in the scratch. Don't use a putty knife or you'll screw it up even worse. This also works on vinyl but once again you have to be very careful to not cook your dash because if you do you're SOL.
