Scott, i have been reading on this site for a long time and I am now going to finally be able to wax it since it is coming out of the shop. It is a 95 bmw M3 and it is cosmos black. the previous owner did NOT take care of it like that car should have been babied. It has some deep swirl marks and also some scratches. what can i do to make it shine like all the cars i see you detail. thanks for your EXPERT advise.

First, go through the stickies, especially the product lists and the one about swirl removal. Those three threads should answer most, if not all of your questions.

Without seeing the paint, it is hard for me to say exactly what you will need to do. At the minimum, you will probably need to use a swirl remover or polish, a glaze and then either a wax or sealant for protection.
