A friend of mine just likes to try new wax products every month on his 2002 rsx.....and i was wondering what you thought about Collinite's Insulator Wax.

    Liquid Insulator Wax
This heavy duty liquid wax was originally developed for use by electric power companies for protection against high voltage power failure, fires and explosions. Its primary use is on the finishes of automobiles, trucks, buses and airplanes where durability, high gloss and lasting protection are paramount. Very easy to use -- requires minimum of rubbing or buffing. Clear coat safe.

and how would this work on my car? (1997 vw golf) with no clearcoat? (i think anyways)

Collinite waxes are extremely durable for a carnauba based wax. The shine won't be as good as something like S100 or Pinnacle waxes, but it will last longer.
