If not I have some details between now and July 21st but nothing after that as quite frankly Im sick of dealing with other peoples cars. If you are interested in trying it out at all I would be happy to send it to you to test for a week or two and you can send it back. I have a FedEx account so there would be no shipping. Call it a gift for all the years of me giving you shit here and on Autopia.

    Let me know....

(PS, No Im not sending it to anyone else so dont ask)

If you want to send it, I won't complain. ;)

I haven't bought one because I can't get a straight answer on Autopia as to whether or not it actually corrects better than a PC. Smoother, quieter, etc don't mean squat to me, correction is all that matters.

Have you directly compared it to a PC, side by side using the same pads, polishes, speeds and time to see if it actually does a better job?

What is your eMail, I will send you a link to my review on Autopia. I keep my ID there private for reasons you and I both know.

What do you mean 'once was'? You really haven't changed much. :mamoru:

Now it appears that UDMv2.0 is now on the drawing board. If it addresses the problems the current version has (cord length, on/off switch and sensitivity to backing plate/pad size) and corrects as well as DavidB says (90% of what a rotary can do), it will be a winner of a product. However, if it can't correct any better than a PC, I'll pass on buying one.

I guess i will wait then, cause i was about to pick one up. But if a newer more commiefied version is on the way, i will wait.

I've wanted to try the UDM, but I'm gonna wait until all of the bugs are out. I already have a PC,Cylco, and a Hitachi. I just don't know if the UDM would even be worth getting?

so does the UDM have the annoying buzz/vibration coming from the "plastic head cap" (that sounds so dirty)? You know, the part that is loose if you don't put the handle on or hold it with your hand?
