    Plastic right?

wet sand it with 1000. then 1500.. then 2000.. then apply Meguiar's PlastX.

They'll be more vulnerable to hazing and you'll need to polish your lights more often.

Go over it with 2000 then 3000, see if it will polish out then.

Weird, this has worked for me every time on numerous headlights.

you are polishing afterwards right? Use elbow grease....or use a rotary buffer for a while....and just to let you know doing that was most likely a mistake. My headlights were fairly clear before with just a little pitting and now I have to polish/seal them every time I wash my car because they get so hazy....

Unless the damage is on the inside........

Can you tell any difference at all?

I use 1000, 2000, 3000........then Meg's #83 to remove the wetsanding marks. I use it with my rotary and a 3 inch pad. I've also used this kit with great results........
