    my friend's woodworking professor has some property right outside of town, with a horse stable and a big woodworking area. he says he has a huge rodent problem.

    he said i could go out there every once in a while and shoot 'em! apparently there's a huge rat colony underneath and they're always gettin into his horse feed and fuckin things up, and there's also a ton of them by his woodpile. I told him i'd go out there every couple of weeks and dispatch of them for free!

    those bastards are gonna be on the wrong end of my 10/22:cool:

    i'll have tons of fun.

    think of it this way...

    if i didn't, they'd be poisoned. would you rather die from a bullet through your skull, or a slow painful death while poison eats away your insides and you shit out your guts?

    I don't have a problem killing animals if they're not supposed to be there, or we don't want them on our property... boom head shot...

    I just recently moved into the city limits and found out there's cats living under our house. So I figured no problem i'll trap them, and have animal control pick them up. I trap one and call Animal control to come pick it up..."we can't pick it up if it's a cat in the city limits, city ordnance blah blah", so the VERY next question i ask her is "so what's the ordinance on discharging firearms inside city limits"... which she replied "it's against the law"... that was pretty much the end of the conversation.

    We used to catch racoons that would kill our chickens all the time in a live trap, BOOM head shot, .22 take them out. Most f'ed up one was when the coon bit the end of the barrel as i stuck it in the cage... I considered that one as a suicide.

    Kittah is not happy. I'm going to take it to the local animal shelter here in a bit, and this is kittah #2.

    10/22 != bb gun...

    and i like kittahs... my cat of 12 years died recently. Had him since the 4th grade, it sucked, what sucked more was that he was attacked by a stray cat at my parent's house, and the stress caused him to get clogged, and stay that way.
