Need a good scope for my new 10/22, and my m-15 im currently building. OT recommend me some scopes that are like 8-16x... the larger the zoom better up to 24x would be awesome, not looking to spend more than 200ish. Im a noob (can i use the same scope on both rifles)?

It's a carbine upper, the one they had on their 12 days of Xmas

Just get the mueller, anything over 12 or so you shake so damn much you'll be all over the target, plus they're specifically made for rimfire

    http://www.muelleroptics.com/products/MAPV451440.html

for the AR just either get a back up iron site (Larue, Arms, Troy) or a cheap POS 3x9 to plink w/

    Larue
    http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Detail.bok?no=29
    ARMS
    http://armsmounts.com/catalog.php?action=110&cat_id=4
    Troy + ARMS
    http://www.pkfirearms.com/store/get_items.aspx?type=0&term=89

Look at cheap fake aimpoints/eotechs or something perhaps :dunno:

why didnt you just wait till i got home for X-mas

You might be able to see the target with 16x. At least go to 36x.

16x should be "just enough" for 50 yards, right?

If not you can always buy another one and mount it in front of the old one, instant 32x. Better yet get a side mount or flip mount like the aimpoint magnifier uses so you can use both scopes at once like binoculars. :eek3:
