I'm probably going to order Tasco's .22 Mag 3-9 silver finish. Under $40 at most online places and it'll be fine for 50 yards which is what I'll be shooting my .22LR at mostly.

I picked up a simmons for mine for >$100 and it does the job pretty well.

I know Bushnell Sportsman series comes in silver 3-9 x 32 for probably about the same price. I think the Nikon Pro Staff also comes in a silver finish, but its probably $150+

i have never used it on anything higher than 8x. it's nice to have the option i guess, if you want to do some more precision shooting around 100 yards.

I recommend an ever so slightly used Bushnell Trophy series 3-9X40. Come in flat black, gloss black, and sliver. Just so happens I have an ever so slightly used one you could have for $40 plus shipping. I used to have it on my 10/22, until DSKing made that damned thread and told everyone what a find he had. Now I have the same thing!

My brother has a savage 17hmr, and he can put bullets in the same hole at 100 yards with a 3-9 :dunno:

of course you can shoot precisely on a target, since the center is very easy to see. but last time at the range, we were shooting pennies at 100, and you couldn't see them with a 3-9.

There is no way in hell I'd trust a scope like that, my cousin kept bragging about his $70 6x24x50 until the reticle started turning when he adjusted the power.

Now that I re-read that, it is sort of confusing. I originally had this Bushnell scope on my 10/22. When DSKing posted in his thread a few weeks ago about his Barska scope, I dumped the Bushnell and got teh Barska. I'll sell you this scope for $40 plus s&h if you're interested. It's nearly perfect. All the goobers in the pic are just dust.
