    :hs:

I've seen prices in the 350 range, and then i keep hoping the built in flash is good enough for basic stuff.
I'd rather get a wide angle lens if im going to be spending money like that.

Thats an open box model. The one i got is new in box, retail. They have a 50$ discount to attract buyers. They do that alot to their high dollar items. It doesnt show until you actually add it into the shopping cart for final purchase.

SB-800 which supports i-TTL is one of the best flash out there.

or... SB-800 + SB-800/SB-600 and have 3 of them. But I had rather get a good light kit in such case.

I have the SB-800 - Very happy with it.

OTher Nikon models work too - but you loose a few features.

The built in flash is "ok" for any shots within 10 feet of the camera. Anything else and it really looses its effectiveness.
