Any rules or methods for doing this.
Iam a big Venom/Carnage/Spidey fan and looking at the Maximum Carnage series i see that issues 3,7,11 are in pdf. this drives me nuts, the converters dont work hardly and pdfs are annoying to load/view.
I have these issues and wouldnt mind taking a crack at it. thoughts ?

Theres a program that converts PDFs to JPGs. Then just make a rar of the jpgs and rename it to a cbr.

havent had much luck with those converters usually the image rez ends up looking bad or just ends up hard to read. so far 2 down 1 to go. its pain to put a comic back together without harming it. much respect to the pros

When I did them I didn't take the books apart.
I had a scanner that was legal size. I would open up the book and gently fold it over so the page I wanted to scan was ready. I would then line it up against the corner as straight as I could get it.
Of course when you close the cover you loose the straightness.
You can try not closing the cover.
I opened the image up in a paint program and trimmed off the edges and tried to straigten it up in the program.
Paint Shop Pro is that the program? I forget the name. But I saved it as a .JPG. Like someone else already said after saving as a .JPG then RAR the file and then change it to the .CBR extension manually.
