used tamron 17-50
what do you find yourself shooting most often?
landscapes, go with a tamron 17-50
portraits... maybe an 85 f/1.8 or even a tamron 28-75 f/2.8
If you want a semi wide angle, the Tamron 17-50 f2.8, if you don't need anything that wide, then go with the 28-75mm Tamron, I have one, and love it.
This will be my first DSLR.
17-50 tamron without a dobut...you learn so much with the constant aperture.
sigma 18-50 2.8 MACRO.
sigma 24-60 2.8 and a 50 1.8
tamron 17-50 2.8
save up for a 5d
Do you guys have an opinion about the Tamron 18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 DiII VC at all? I played with one the other day when I was looking at a 17-50, and one popped up for $450 today. Is that kind of range asking too much of one lens?
18-55mm IS and 50mm f/1.8
a kit lens and a piece of crap.
You obviously have no idea what you're talking about
Foot ---> mouth
I took some of my best photos with the kit lens.
It's not the same thing as the non IS, the IS version has higher resolution capabilities than some L lenses do, it just has a lot of distortion at 18mm.
But I really did take some of my best photos with my 18-55 non-IS.
I believe you, just clarifying.
