    Saw a Chevy 2500 4X4 with Quadrasteer.

    How common are these things?

Having never seen one in person my first reaction was "wo, how u do that" then I remembered about Quadrasteer. Was that shit any good?

I don't think so. The denali had quadrasteer for a year or two, it didn't take off and then they canned it. Also, the denali is 1/2 ton. I haven't seen a quadrasteer 3/4 ton. That's kinda cool.

Yeah, it was a 2500 extended cab long bed. It had puny ass tires on it, which I would assume are because of the quadrasteer. Maybe like 225/75/16's. An article I found said that it was always an option and it's first year it was a $7500 option :ugh2:

From what I've heard on the GM truck boards I'm on the guys that have it don't have a lot of problems with it, the only problem is lack of parts availability and high cost if something does need repair.

For what it's worth, I haven't seen a 2500 truck with quadrasteer in person either. I have however seen a few Suburban 2500 4x4 quadrasteers as well as Yukon XL 2500s.

Quadrasteer is badass it is too bad it never took off.

I took a 6-place enclosed snowmobile trailer on a 400 mile trip with a QS Suburban and it handled like a dream.
