What do you guys think about this deal?. Is this a decent rifle? How's it compare to a mosin which is <$100 at big5.

Is this an actual English rifle. I assume so. Since marked US Property. If so, I wouldnt mind getting one for myself. Hard enoguh just to find an actual british model nowadays in the Shotgun News.

Now to find out if I can order by mail from them. Im like 550 miles from the nearest Big 5

    .303 isn't exactly cheap. Like $12 for 20 rounds.

I dont think its really that cheap. I think most of the stuff you may find is new production.

Expensive ammo doesnt really bother me for guns like that. I was planning on buying a k31 soon. I figured I just wouldnt shoot it that often, and then whenever my fucking mosin comes in ill just use the hungarian surplus mildly corrosive ammo in that and clean it really good after each use and then also do a followthrough clean up a week later.

.303 ammo is still kinda cheap around here. Not .308 cheap, but not .30 caliber super duper mega uber match round expensive.

As for a Savage Enfield. Good guns and kinda unique having a US made No. 4 Mk. 1.

    Corrosive....
Not a really big fan of that. I dont even like the fact that I bought mildly corrosive ammo for my Mosin.

Never had any problems running corrosive through my c&r stuff, but if you hate it that much you can pay a bit more and just get Wolf.

Why?? Its been shot through the gun before most likely unless your gun is unfired. It doesnt hurt them.

I know it doesnt really matter how corosive it is, b/c of how harcode I clean my guns after each use, but it still bothers me for some reason.
