I need to add some more sata ports to my computer as I have run out. I don't need anything fancy, I won't be doing any raids on these particular drives I just need something to plug some drives into so they show up in my computer. Sata II preferred but not required as this is merely more storage where performance doesn't really matter. I found a promise 4 port sataII on newegg for 55 and a syba 4 port sata I on newegg for 20. Those are the two I'm currently looking at. Syba I haven't really heard of before but it gets decent ratings while promise doesn't have as many ratings but is higher and I've heard the name before. Any help you guys can give would be appreciated. I just want something cheap but not fuck myself 3 months from now cheap.
