I want to get another HDD. I currently have 2 IDE HDD and I was thinking about adding a 3rd SATA HDD. Can I run both IDE and SATA drives together?

Sure. You can run IDE, SATA, scsi and serial attached scsi on the same computer. Because each one would have it's own controller.

On that note, to get the best speed out of your IDE drives, make sure they're on separate cables. If you also need to have a disc burner on one of the cables, put it on the cable that your data/media drive IS NOT connected to.
