its kind of hard to lift to "i will remember you" when its playing in your gym :(
and britney spears, and christina aguilera.....

i wear headphones when i lift alone, but most of the time i lift with my lifting bud and i think it'd be rude to wear headphones

I hate all that gay butt rock they play at the gym. Play some metal or rap to pump people up. I have an ipod now. :(

Ya I use my shuffle but hearing beach boys in the background when going for your last rep is distracting as fuck.

anything with a good tempo beat to it will motivate me more.

at the gym i go to, usually a radio station that plays rock, rarely metal, light rock, dance station and some nights its on a slow jam station.

i wonder if i could bring a cd to the gym and ask them if they can play it? (at night of course when no ones really there)

They play the same shit the one gym I am a member of. I only have my headphones on when I am getting ready to lift. Kindof that pre lift routine I have past that the mp3 player is on pause and one of the headphones is out so I can talk.
