Just got back from doing SAR in TX.. however Rita wasn't as devistating as Katrina, we still pulled about 1,500 people.. so all in all it was a good trip..
anyone else in a CSAR unit?

I'm part of the SAR(Search and Rescue) team here. I was voluntold for this a few years ago. Luckily, I haven't had to do any real world things, just exercises.

Well, technically we are based out of Moody AFB in GA, but we are a tenant unit here.. I am on the 130 side of the house.. pj drop and refuel.. however, once i finish my degree i am going for a pilot slot, and if not that.. then maybe cross-train.
