Got back to my place this morning, look what came in the mail Christmas Eve
I got a scope for my AR, a single point sling and mount, and this:
And i'm already planning to change the springs out on that thing for less dart drop
I got a multi-tool
We gave my parents a pair of Nerf guns, along with a 30-pack of darts. We gave the same thing to a married couple of friends, and to ourselves. My wife and I have been having duels, while the dog just chases down the darts and chews on them.
I got a Gold Cup 1970's era 1911. Groups as tight as a virgin. I am very happy.
I got a GPS system from my mom, $100 from my dad, and a bedside quick-access (keypad) gun safe from the SO.
how long did your VA permit take?
well, i took the class in April. I left the paperwork on my floor until October.
It should take around 45 days max. I had an extra to-do over proving residency but i made it more difficult for myself by going to court over it.
45 days is the max. it is easy
i already turned in my app and all that. I've just heard various times from 13 days to the full 45. So was just hoping to hear more good experiences.
i got my 'suspended' letter ~40 days in. apparently they are really backed up at the moment (fairfax at least)
That's nearly impossible in CA
Happy for you though
Sweeeeeeeeet. Its a good feeling, opening up that mailbox, or however you receive your mail, and seeing your city, county or state logo on the envelope, knowing full well what's inside.
I got CoD4 for 360, btw. And I actually bought it... from the wife though.
But I paid for it. Me. Not her.
where in CA are you? Some counties are easy.
I got a bunch of books about the eastern front of WWII, some money from the g-parents, and a 250+ piece mechanic tool set
Santa Barbara county
jesus, you get to go up infront of a shrink
I would say try it anyway, worst that can happen is that you don't get it, right?
Or the shrink deems him crazy and he's fucked for life when it comes to guns.
Maybe they would take pity on me since I'm a practicing EMT
Maybe. Or be the horrified scared hippies that they are, and think you're gonna start offing people at will because you don't feel like saving them.
Oh noes, an EMT terrorist conspiracy.
Hey, that's a good one. I'm gonna write a show about it now.
All the hippies sold their houses to rich people, became rich themselves and moved to Oregon. Now it's fucking yuppie land, which is even worse.
The climate is so nice though
I like 4 full and real seasons. It adds variety to one's life. And I like variety.
Been to Cali 8 times... love visiting, could never live there. It would take a LOT of money for me. If at all.
Oregon seems nice. Never been there though.
