the subbed versons are usually better than the dubbed versions anyway. champloo being no exception. i personally like the jap voices much more than the english. plus, the name "momo-san" sounds much better than just "momo" :wiggle:

after thinking about it for a while i have to say i prefer dubbed.

the story is what sells a good anime, if that's good i can stand american voice actors.

it seems a lot of fanboys don't even give dubbed a chance, sticking to subbed religiously.

anyways i think dubbing attarcts more american fans to the series, which in turn increases anime fanbase, which gives companies a reason to work harder on making dubbing better.

wow, it's not enough to have a 5th thread about samurai champloo, it's got to be misspelled.

I liked it, pretty damn realistic...

even that other Samarai anime with the "the man slayer" has people doing off the wall crap...

though I admit I've only seen one version, I've seen videos where the animation is different....

but, I like Champloo better for now...

I know that a lot of people hate Samurai Champloo, because they think it's repetitive and it has no plot. I have to agree to a certain extent that the plot is too simple to be a good one, but the action sequences make up for it. Mugen's my favourite. His fighting style is real raw. The anime also had an overall hip style to it and that pretty much brought out the positives. Basically, if you can overlook the simple plot of chasing after a samurai that smells of sunflowers, I think it should be quite entertaining.
