its pretty cool, but repedative...
marijuana may not be crack but it sure is fucking with your spelling
i just finished watching 1-17 but i cant seem to find any torrents for 18-26
very....different anime...it seems that adult swim always nabs english ones after you spend forever watching all the subbed episodes...*sigh*
whats the site for the whole thing up to date? i started then haven't been updated... suxor.
i thought it was pretty good
the subbed versons are usually better than the dubbed versions anyway. champloo being no exception. i personally like the jap voices much more than the english. plus, the name "momo-san" sounds much better than just "momo"
after thinking about it for a while i have to say i prefer dubbed.
the story is what sells a good anime, if that's good i can stand american voice actors.
it seems a lot of fanboys don't even give dubbed a chance, sticking to subbed religiously.
anyways i think dubbing attarcts more american fans to the series, which in turn increases anime fanbase, which gives companies a reason to work harder on making dubbing better.
I'm watching it on adultswim and I like it so far
i could care lees
I like it
its a good anime nonetheless but i still liked the subbed a lot better...
wow, it's not enough to have a 5th thread about samurai champloo, it's got to be misspelled.
so, uh... any reason in particular you've brought back a year old thread?
lol he finally found a comeback, after one year?
i thought it was pretty good. nice action sequences.
Samurai 7 > Samurai Champloo
I liked it, pretty damn realistic...
even that other Samarai anime with the "the man slayer" has people doing off the wall crap...
though I admit I've only seen one version, I've seen videos where the animation is different....
but, I like Champloo better for now...
I know that a lot of people hate Samurai Champloo, because they think it's repetitive and it has no plot. I have to agree to a certain extent that the plot is too simple to be a good one, but the action sequences make up for it. Mugen's my favourite. His fighting style is real raw. The anime also had an overall hip style to it and that pretty much brought out the positives. Basically, if you can overlook the simple plot of chasing after a samurai that smells of sunflowers, I think it should be quite entertaining.
fuck that shit
