Swapped some ram and old video card into a different PC. Intel, 2.0ghz. The case doesnt have the screw holes to secure the video card. (AGP) I used it for about a year like this because it worked and im lazy. My dog was screwing around back there yesterday and ended up getting caught in the VGA cord, pulling it, unseating the video card. POP!

Computer restarts, nothing. Pull the geforce mx4000, fried a few terminals. Throw it in the garbage. Ordered a 6800gt off ebay. Run the monitor off of the onboard video for now and it boots fine and i have a good picture on an old crt monitor. The 21" Samsung 216bw i was using wont work, and is running in analog and the screen is all white/grey. It varies in brightness but no picture. I have been seraching. I may have blown a fuse in the monitor.

Would it be any different when i try it in DVI mode on the new vid card?

Cliffs- Short Circuited video card, Fried it. LCD monitor only displays a whitewash with some texture. No picture. Ideas? Thanks!
