This place is paradise. You can't swing a dead tilapia without hitting something photogenic.

I shot some 200 film with an AE-1 Program

All in all, a destination I can recommend.

Photos of decomposing trailer at Bombay Beach withheld intentionally.

#5 would be much better if you cropped some of the bottom off and just made it a panoramic crop. I think that would make it a great shot.

The rest are just ok, nothing really notable IMO

Okay okay. Here it is, but it's nought more than a snapshot.

The interesting thing is you can see the changes through other people's shots as this thing falls apart year by year. In fact, if you go back a while, this whole area used to be under a couple feet of water. The Sea has been shrinking for a few years now, and when this area dried up it left thick encrusted salt everywhere.

And one from 7 years ago as the water was receding

I suspect it lived a for many years, undisturbed, after the Sea took it. Now that anyone can walk up, you can see first off the metal siding has been plundered, and the structure's degrading rapidly most likely from people climbing on and around it.
