So, everyday at work, I make a bigass salad. I throw in a chopped/baked chicken breast, half an avocado, veggies, etc.

I have been trying this nofat Hidden Valley Ranch for awhile, and I kind of hate it. It is edible, but nothing spectacular.

Anybody know of a damned amazing dressing that can be easily found and is good for you? ie not something at Trader Joe's only (Don't have one here)

If you can't get over the taste of that non-fat ranch (I feel you, it's disgusting), you can meet it half way in the middle and get the low fat ranch. It'll have a few grams per serving, but not load your whole day of fats out in one salad like straight up ranch. It's still not ranch, but it's WAY less disgusting than the fat free stuff.

I'm no dietitian, so I could be wrong, but avocado fat isn't loaded up with saturated fats and other non-heart healthy stuff like full on ranch dressing is. I believe most ranch fat is gonna be from pretty heavy soy oil.

Walden Farms caesar tastes fine to me. You could look into their products since a few of their products are pretty good. (Chocolate sauce and Pancake syrup are the only other 2 I've tried from them).

Because avocado is on a very short lists of ideal fats we all should be eating.

If Ranch were made of the same fat as avocados, I would drink it.

You use cottage cheese and salsa on salads? Or just as a "mixer" or something for chicken?

I'll have to try making my own with EVOO and balsamic. I was kind of wondering about store bought ones too, for ease of use. I might check out the Walden Farms one, I heard some of their stuff is pretty good.

actually avacado are loaded up with saturated fat, but the GOOD kind. other ranch products will use saturated fat from animals. which is the bad kind.

Man you homo's need to chill the fuck out with your concerns over fat intake. Eating animal fat is not going to kill you. If anything the shit they replace your delicious animal fat with is going to kill you. You should be far more concerned with the carbs or fake sugar in your ranch dressing than anything else.

Ripped mother fuckers have been eating animals in the jungle for 11ty billion years.
