The manager of ATT Alex J. Davis confirmed for the Brazillian website called Portal do Vale Tudo the fight kang vs sakuraba, here is the new in portuguese:

I think at his natural weight class(i.e. not LHW or HW) he is still competitive.

That being said Kang is one of the best a that weight.

    I'll be pulling for Saku.

he'll still be competitive against B-class fighters

i heart Saku, but him continuing to fight is detrimental to the sport IMO

    1) alex davis is our former manager.

    2) he does manage some of the fighters that came from his camp in brazil.

    3) Kang will DOMINATE and OWN the k-1 185 class.

    4) Kang is EXTREMELY good on the groud. I dunno what fighter you were watching that you think he isn't.

    5) I doubt he would fight Melvin or vice versa. Melvin trains with us.

    6) Kang will be holding the 185 belt in K-1 within a year (if they give him the fights)

    see #5.

i'm always impressed by Kang's improved boxing

Saku probably won't get him to the mat, and if he does, Kang can neutralize him at least until they're stood up

I've been a big Saku fan over the years, but I am definitely tired of seeing him take BRUTAL beatings... IMHO, he should stick to "legends" matches or retire...

QFT, but with his name recognition I am afraid he will be forced to go out on his shield :wtc:

Not really, he just had the wrong gameplan. He fought the same way he did the first time but with restricted time limits.

Saku needs to move to US and open up a School in SoCal.
Make tons of money and live happily ever after.
I love Saku but hate to see him fight as of lately. :wtc::wtc:

I love watching Sakuraba more than anyone, he was always my favorite fighter back in the day but I just can't watch him anymore. He always takes such a beating and we all know his brain has to be mush by now thanks to Wanderlei and that Smirnovas fight in K-1.
