they were hoping he'd eek out another victory like against Smirnovas i'm sure

for the sake of the sport, Saku needs to retire. it's not going to look good when he's completely retarded from all of the strikes to the head several years from now :sad2:

    and welcome back...where'd you go?

    did you watch the fight?

Saku was getting pummeled for over a minute, most of which was undefended

he was fine until the last little bit

I just hope Akiyama wasn't greased up like they said he was

regardless, I agree Saku should retire

I want to see if I can get a Saku shirt or mask shipped to Canada from Japan

That was pretty bad. It's weird, they really want to give Saku every possible chance to win a fight. I really think he's gonna have some serious problems when he gets older.

he pulled away from those single legs pretty easy.

it made my heart ache, hearing saku complain and his face all busted like that.

The first time I bleed from the ears after a fight I would probably retire.

it's just his cauliflower ear bursting...

wouldnt be funny if Akiyama complained about Sakuraba not draining his ears before the fight so that when they burst they provide extra lubrification for HIM?

What was wrong with the stoppage in the Alves/Desouza fight? That fight could've easily been stopped at the end of the first with the GnP Alves was laying down. Desouza still looked out of it in the 2nd round.

Cruz was fucked up after the stoppage.

Sorry I didn't clairfy, I meant they were bad stoppages as in too late.

De Souza was OUT in the first and they let it continue until the bell. Then he looked the same at the start of the second. Fight should of been called in the first.

and with pe de pano, how many uncontested blows to the BACK of his head did he take before it was stopped. Way to many, he as motionless long before the fight was called.

Never mind arlovski's fence grabbing or repeated punches to the back of the head.
