Anyone with experience with this platform.

What opinions does everyone have, overkill with similar calibers? Too expensive?

It's just peaked my interest and I'm looking for input

too expensive for a rimfire IMO

I'd rather just get a CZ455, hopefully they come out with a Full Stock 455

it's only expensive because you're paying for the ability to change barrels/calibers

if you don't need to do that, why pay for it

I see no reason to want to change between those calibers. For that kind of money just buy a .17HMR and a Ruger 10/22.

Actually the Quad is only about 5-6 hundred with a single caliber like the CZ. I'm not sure how much the additional caliber barrels will be for CZ though. It looks to be considerably more involved to change calibers with the CZ than the Sako though.

Personally I wouldn't own a 10/22, plus I already have rifles in chambered in 22LR. I was just looking for 17 HMR rifles and came across this one and was looking for more information.

I'll probably just continue looking for a 17 HMR in another brand as I'm not sure I'd use the 22 WMR either.

I hear they don't shoot as well as the CZ's typically do, but that's only heresay. Some guys were snapping them up and turning them into $2k "trainers" to mimic fullsize rigs.

I'd rather have a brace of 10/22's and an Annie, myself.
