What kind/brand of slugs do you all use? I shot some remingtons that I got from Academy and some plastic from the carrier (or whatever is behind the slug) clogged the gas ports. Anyone else have this problem?

Well, mine wasn't cycling because the gas ports were actually clogged, not because of the wrong setting. It properly cycled the first 2 shots, and then it quit. I had to use a dental pick to get the stuff out of the two gas ports in the barrel.

Well if you had a benelli you would not have this problem. Inertia driven FTW:wiggle:

No gas ports, no springs. The benelli is the glock of semi auto shotguns. No gas system means no carbon in the action. You really don't even need to clean a benelli, it doesn't get dirty.

Last time I checked the Africa situation, AK's don't really need to be cleaned either.

How can they claim it doesn't use any springs? Am I missing something?

Yeah I'm not sure how they claim that either. There are at least 2 springs in the recoil system to return the bolt. Whatever it is still a engineering marvel.

The saiga 12 maybe based off the AK design but it is nowhere the same AK reliability that is the sterotype.

Where does it say no springs? It specifically says that it has three main parts, one being a spring.

It does say no springs under the forend, which allows for better balance.
