So i got shin splints about 3 weeks ago. :( .. haven't ran since and am still recovering. I haven't done any leg work since then and I was wondering if i could do squats today.... would it harm my recovery? What about calf raises and leg extensions? I'm afraid the pressure on my shins when doing leg extensions might slow my recovery also. Thanks

I'd seek professional information, not the responses of an online forum for such question.

there are some forums that offer really good medical advice especially with regards to lifting, maybe not this one but they're out there :o

hmm i squatted today, but not too heavy. I think with proper form, there shouldn't be much shin involvement at all. But yea i'll definitely check out the other websites. Thanks anyway guys
