I tried using safari instead of firefox today and I was really pleased with how much more responsive it was. It did crash once when I wasn't doing anything extraordinary so that was disappointing. I want to keep an open mind because firefox really puts a strain on my aging powerbook.

Anyway, I'm getting some weird behavior with the tabs and opening links. I'll be working with multiple windows, each with multiple tabs, and when I open new links I will either click, cmd-click, or shift-cmd-click. I'm not really used to it yet but it definitely does some weird things, like opening links in other existing windows and changing window focus randomly. Does anyone else experience this?

I just downloaded Opera and I'm going to try that tomorrow.

i think it all depends on the order that you open the windows/tabs in. safari has a setting to open links from other apps in the newest tab/window.

every program has preferences. i dont mean to be a dick but maybe people should check them out once in a while.

yeah its no biggie. its just a lot of the time kids run in here and say "wah this sucks" without ever looking at the preferences. :hsd:
