I switch back and forth.. There are things I like about both, but I voted for Safari anyways.

I perfer FF. More options and you can easily add on even more options. Plus you can optimize it to make it run faster and smoother.
The only thing I'll Safari is that it has the option to turn the pop-up blocker on and off via a menu choice. I'm still looking for something for FF that will let me do that from either the menu or a toolbar button.

Safari is a nice lightweight browser, but the lack of a real extention system really bothers me.

Firefox is great except it's slow and feels like ported software instead of a true OS X app.

Camino is the way Firefox should be on OS X, but it's not mature enough yet.

Omniweb 5 is a great combination of the speed and simplicity of Safari with the expandibility of Firefox, but the tab implementation requires having a widescreen monitor (which I don't).

I switch between all four; right not I'm using Camino. Hopefully, Safari RSS + Dashboard will be the new hotness.

I tried safari for a while, but ultimately came back to FF. Though on mac it's lagging in functionality behind windows/nix (which annoys me), I still had to get back on it. Safari, though nice, is just too limited and restrictive. Extensions are just plain awsome. Safari didn't really give me anything FF didn't have, but it was sure as hell lacking a ton of things FF has.

I switch back and forth. Safari is too slow. Firefox fucks up some pages, and I can't get Java/Flash to work consistently.

I like firefox, but the scrolling is too choppy (with a scroll wheel/trackpad). If they fix that, i'll try it for longer. Until then, its safari for me.

The only time safari really slows down is when there are a lot of animated gifs on the screen at once.

I had that problem a little with the "normal" Firefox but once I switched to a G4 optimized build of Firefox I haven't had any problems.

I tried FF, but Safari loads pages faster on my iBook.

So I'm sticking with Safari (for now).

Yeah - its just the window handling is shockingly slow.
Even with the G5 "Optimised" version.
