Finally here. Pricing seems to be $2000-$2500 on Gun Broker. Mags are $30 each but there's a conversion you can get that uses M16 mags. Barrel twist rate is 1/9" because that's the original design.

plus it's made by Bushmaster, not steyr (not that I have anything against steyr, the M9 is great for the price)

Jesus, for just about any price I'd rather slit my wrists than own something that makes me vomit every time I open the safe.... :ugh:

Yep to much money for a gun with a shitty unfixable trigger.

I wouldn't mind grabbing one after a ACR or SCAR, always liked the AUG...but not interested in buying into another magazine system. :sad2:

    Expensive...

Wasn't there some company making cool updated AUGs that took AR mags, and had 1:7 twist tubes? Wasn't Microtech, but their name escapes me. I think I remember them posting a lot on one of the tactical forums.

MSAR is still in business and they have a new STG called the E4 which accepts AR mags.

I really want one, but the trigger is pretty crappy and unfixable. :hs:

Yeah that is a big killer for the deal, alot of money and needing new mags, only way I'd spend that kind of coin on a 5.56 rifle that needs new mags is a real sig 55x. I don't think this steyr does anything better then the FN2000 the FN is cheaper and uses mags I already have a ton of. FN looks nicer IMO too.

I dunno about that. The FS2000 looks like I'm pointing a large-mouth bass downrange.
