I've actually liked a lot of them, but I'd still take a Volvo S40 before a Saab.

Did you see the awful headlight design GM wanted to roll out a couple of years ago, or maybe it was last year? Looked like the goddamned thing had a pair of black eyes. Can't get worse than that, but it's at least worth noting that they got rid of it.

Web site is deceiving, there is a brochure at the bottom that has the new 9-5. I think that's what the TS is talking about.

I love the 9-3 sedan...the one that was out before this current model, with the facelift.

They are like little toys, when in Aero trim. It's too bad the dashboard layout is fucking ancient.

That's a truly good looking car that kept the same basic saab styling/body lines.

Yes, that's the car I was talking about. Don't like the color, but the styling is much better overall.

Mitch, that's what SAABs look like. That's what they've always looked like. People who have always liked SAABs will like this one too.

You obviously don't live where I live. People love SAAB about as much as they love Audi around here. Not as much as they love BMW, though.

I think a bigger problem is that the car is so behind on many levels.
I bought a 9-3 a months ago and I think many parts are the same as in granddads 1979 Saab 99. It also have some annoyances such as lack of storage inside the car. It has a small glove-box but nothing else. Not even cup holders! They managed to make the space for the driver smaller then on my Toyota Yaris. And it have the rear viability of a lorry.

There are advantages to this car but they are not obvious for uninitiated. When you take to the highway you love the drive! It accelerates like a supercar!

I am not sure the GM years have been good to Saab, quality have gone down the drain just as Volvo under Ford.

The Swedish government should've bought SAAB. Or better yet, SAAB Aerospace never should have sold the automotive division.

Anyway, at least the new 9-5 looks right.
