Here's my new Springfield Operator. I’m not the biggest fan of 1911’s but I liked the full length rail and it’s not like I need to own any more guns anyway. I haven't shot it yet but I hope to in the next week or so.

Needs a lighter trigger and a reliability job, other than that a great gun.

I bought it for $600. It is lightly used (maybe 300 rounds) but that price included 6 mags and the original grips as well. Not the best deal ever but not bad either.

Very nice. I've been contemplating the purchase of an SA or maybe a ParaOrd 1911 style soon.

Oh man. Someone knows me. Worst yet, someone knows Yeager.

The Glock 19 is still the best concealed carry defense pistol currently made. I won’t be carrying this monstrosity around with me any time soon.

While I won't argue that G19's are excellent guns. Very reliable and small enough to carry anywhere you want to. They just don't fit my hand that well. I grab my dad's point it towards a target, and it's suddenly aimed 2 feet above target, the grip angle and my wrist aren't friends.

I put my pants on just like the rest of you.
    One leg at a time.
Except, once my pants are on, I teach people to kill people.

I thought we taught near there earlier this year. In ATL maybe? What's stopping you from hosting a class and shooting for free?

hmm. well. so you might've been. super dave and ken hackathorn and mike benedict are out this way every now and then. in fact, S. Dave is giving a pistol class coming up. problem is, i can't take off work on a weekend to go. really, it wouldn't matter if anyone came, because i can't really go. i think next time S. Dave gives a carbine class, i'm going to take some vacation time.
