I dropped my S400 the other night like an idiot, but the only thing that stopped working was the LCD. I plan to upgrade to something else now that this has happened, but I'd still like to get a little money back by selling the old camera. I've seen these cameras go for $200+ on eBay with non-functional LCDs, but if I can get the LCD fixed cheap and get a little more back on the sale, I'd be happier.

    Thanks in advance.

It depends on why it stopped working, if the lcd is cracked or whatever = $$$,
    It's possible theres only a bad connection = $$

If it's within 1 year of purchase send it back to Canon for repairs. Kind of off topic, but in store warranty's from those big chain places are bullshit. You pay the extra 60-100 for their "3-5 Year Extended Warranty" but when you have problems and bring it in, they say they'll look at it in store first. If that doesn't pass, they send it to Canon for repair... which you can already do if it's within the first year of purchase. Anyways just venting. Good luck.
