    There's an industrial park nearby with really odd lighting... washed my car tonight and figured i'd stop down for a few pics.

    Hand held 30D w/ 85mm 1.8

    i've got a manfrotto / bogen setup... i intentionally went for underexposed, but maybe it's too much. Looks good on my setup.

    looks too underexposed to me. I lightened it by about 1.5 stops in PS and it started to look better. Otherwise you struggle to see what's going on and that's not a good thing.

    There's not enough contrast here to make the shape of the car evident and so the underexposure doesn't work for me. If you shot RAW I'm sure you could bump it a bit pretty easily.

    I think the last one could be a cool shot, if you bump the exposure some...

    I love shooting in industrial areas at night... you can get some cool effects. But these just seem really underexposed.

    steam from the exhaust... it was 34 degrees last night. The white stuff on the ground is ice :bigthumb:

    why not turn the car off instead of making it look like a finger smudge on a picture?
