i wouldn't say it's an insanely fast car either but they are extremely fun cars to drive, especially when you can open it up like that.

The 06' like I drove has the 2.2L that has quite a bit more tq, but it still could use more. I easily won A stock over my co-driver and 2 STi's. I say insanely fast because it is, my first time ever driving one on slicks or at autocross and put down times with some of the fastest cars there. It's such an easy car to drive fast and takes little to make it that way. The car I was driving only had r compound tires and a front swaybar!

I feel sorry for any NA engine that tries to breathe at 9000rpm. That car would probably gain 25% more top-end power just by upgrading the intake to something the size of...oh...the grille.

  9. You feel sorry for a NA 4cyl engine that makes 240hp? I feel sorry for you.

That horsepower is all RPM and no torque, though. I refuse to believe it can breathe properly at redline without a huge intake or a turbo.

The 2.2 in the newer cars is much better though it's no v8. The redline is now 8k rpm's but it has a much more useable powerband than before. It does have a pretty large intake box and the engine is so efficient in stock form bolt-ons have minimal gains, like a cat-back usually netting maybe 5hp!!

Have you driven one deusexaethera?? You should try it, yes you do have to rev it out but when it hits 6k rpms it's great!! Not to mention the handling!!

you're not very smart if you refuse to believe that.

you must also refuse to believe that men and monkeys are related.
