    Hi All

Ive read through a lot of your posts in this section and couldn't find an S15!!!

(Im sure it's got a lot to do with the fact that they aren't sold in the U.S and therefore not of any interest to most of you )

Anyway, I'm always keen to hear American's impression of the S15 200sx/Silvia so go right ahead :)

I'll post a few pics but it is fairly stock at the moment

    Cheers

Cool license plate, SR1337. Was that on purpose? Eg: SR-20 LEET ?

    spec S, very nice.

fun cars to drive but the gearboxes bitch and moan and snap when you put a bit of power through them.

    yeah, so does mine :sadwavey:

you should try changing the gearbox oil to Redline Lightweight Shockproof Gearbox Oil.

    fucking ricer

the s15 is one of the best looking cars ever made, imo. There's a fella with one who goes to some of the local drift events... too bad he's a fanboy prick.

how is going strawberry face on a s13 being a ricer? so you think signal's s13 with the s15 front end if also ricer?

oh yea and i'm fucking sick of JDM bullshit, everyone and their fucking mom is "JDM" these days. I give more props to people that don't get the same fucking lip kits and rims as everyone else.

Maybe something to do with relatively huge expense and labor solely for "unique" looks? The Signal car is built for competition, which includes style where drift is concerned. Bit different from imitating it with a street car. Also... using terms like "strawberry face" doesn't help your cause ;)

I will say though that from a purely aesthetic view, at least the lines work better than the Sil-eighty, which I've never thought looked right. My personal favorite is the Silvia coupe with double projectors (CA18 Q's/K's). Or a 240SX coupe with the zenki bumper.

its an s15 240SX isnt it? not 200sx. or is the 240sx just the american version with the 2.4 KA hence the 240 and the sr20 with the 2.0 in it.

I like the sileighties in s13 chassis only. The s15 front is too curvy for the s13 imo. Signal's drifter twins are indeed hot, but I promise you their car was properly tuned in every aspect before they decided to throw on an s15 front.
