Sweet-talked my supplier into giving me group-buy pricing...I just have to buy the group buy amount by the end of year.

So 10rd AGP S12 mags are $40 through me and in-stock right now :big grin:

Can converted Saiga's be acquired for cheap?

Or do you have to build your own?

I can do the conversion for ya if you don't have tools. It takes less than an hour. S12s are going for around $500 plus under $100 for conversion parts.

    Nice!

    Got any links?

I was into AKs for about two weeks, then decided that I liked the weight, egro, and snap-model nature of ARs instead.

Yeah, ARs are much more ergonomic.

I went with the easy trigger guard from Tromix. I got about halfway through making my own and then got lazy and decided the Tromix would look better. That and the SAW pistol grip, AK polymer stock, a new trigger and discconector are all I added.

You can get fancy and put a folding stock and all that good stuff, but it will cost a bit more. I'm just using mine for Chukar hunting, shooting clays and maybe home defense when I get around to buying some buckshot/slugs.

I still want to SBS it, but that's just way too expensive for it. still is a good gun with the normal barrel length

you figured out the shortened gas system? if so, you could cut the barrel down. :dunno:

    Sweet.

I'm broke as hell, but i'll see if I can scrape the food/beer budget some more for Saiga funding.

I know a few guys with shorties. I could probably just get the measurements from them. Shotgun barrels are easy to cut down, though I think I'll keep mine at 19". It's the most practical for what I'm using it for.

I know they're easy to cut down, just was wondering about the gas system. are you able to do it, you decided? 10" S12 = :wackit:

plus I already have 2 other shotties for hunting.
