Target and varmint hunting mostly. Not home protection and I don't expect to be in any gunfights.

Just something for having fun and I'm not the most diligent about cleaning which is why I went with the piston model.

The piston is probably unnecessary for your uses. They have their place, but for general plinking and varmint hunting you will probably be best served with a standard direct impingement system. Spend the money you saved on some good quality ammo and go have fun.

Standard DI ARs will run pretty much no matter what as long as they are kept lubricated. Having a slightly dirty AR will not affect the function. If you like to keep it clean, it can be done in under 5 minutes.

I have a regular OR. Didn't care for the fsb, but after changing that out and adding a tac rail, I like it alot (thanks l4zy).

Don't mind the little pistol tac light, I was just testing it out, lol. I used to put it on my G17, but I sold that and haven't picked up another fullsize handgun to put it on... so, why not?

    With Aimpoint

Next up is probably a CTR stock and a new pistol grip of some sort... MIAD? Not sure.

Oh and I still need a sling. But that's about it really for this gun.

Why not just get the MOE stock? I never got why the locking feature of the CTR is worth the extra money since the MOE stock locks up fine.

Because the CTR doesn't rattle. Is it really going to be a big deal for just shooting paper? Probably not.
But it's what I want, so :fawk:

If you're wanting a MIAD, get it while you can as Magpul is phasing out the full kit.
