My computer has had some kernal panics over the last month or so, and I finally look in Disk Utility to see both of my intenal hard drives (250gig each) are both in red text.

Come to find out, I run the test and see that SMART says they are both failing in the category of Relocating Sectors. Everything else passes.

How big of a problem is this? Anyway to fix this drive, or is it toast. I can still read and write to it.. so not sure how much time I have left.

And, its strange that this would happen to both at the same time? How does this happen, and what causes this?

    Thanks to all...

As with most failing HDD's. do a backup and replace them ASAP. RMA if possible.
