GUN russian rifles

    so my dad/bro bought these 2 russian rifles, one with a bayonet on it. mosin-nagant? m44? what are these things?

    Yeah, my friend just got one from Big 5 for $100.00 in completely un-issued condition, it's a beautiful rifle.

    Took it shooting for the first time today, shot really good. Plus it comes with a nice bayonet, which is actually identical to an SKS bayonet. They both interchange freely.

    Only downside I found was when you're closing and opening the bolt with a live round in, you basically have to slam it open and closed.

    And oh yeah, Wolf makes 7.62x54R also. Usually about $8.00 for 20 rounds.

    I have one I bought at a garage sale for $15. I love that gun. The wood is in kind of bad shape (oil soaked) but it shoots streight!

    Kinda like the the AK, they're a tad unaccurate, but still reliable and tough as hell.
