Before I say anything else I'm going to say the object here isnt SQ. And this is for home application.

What would be the best way to go about running multiple subs?
(I already know how to hook them up)

Putting them in corners? Or putting them sort of in a line?

If you cant identically match subwoofers what would be the best way of pairing them up, same type? similar tech specs?

From what I have read and been told, opposite corners is the way to go.

Corner loading is best, after that wall-loading. Corner gives a 6dB gain and wall gives 3dB if I remember right (it is 3am). So, put them in the corners and when you run out of corners put the extras next to the corner loaded subs so they have some reinforcement from the corner. I bet you're going to run into some major phase issues though, good luck.

I would place them across the room from each other at the mid-point of the walls. I have mine setup this way and they sound excellent with music and movies. Later on I will post some screen shots from my Velodyne DD software to show you what I am talking about.

eh im not TOO worried about phase issues, u could have the north side of the room running 0 and the south side running 180, it might lessen the gayness. But this is a theoretical party application where id be throwing together some cheap JBL northridge subs. Drunk people dont care about SQ as long as it makes their boobs jiggle :dunno:

I forgot to mention that the method that I recommended will also help to even bass peaks and nulls throughout the room so that you will get smoother and punchier bass anywhere in the room.

For our living room the wall is like: speaker, sub, rack, tv, rack, sub, speaker
I can post a pic when I get home. But we have a super wide sound stage in a large room. It works in our room.

OK I dont want to hear any comments about the misc crap, this is actually clean for my dad.

Your dad probably doesn't care, but in general those speakers would sound better further away from the walls.
