Is it best to make a "rest" day absolutely as easy on your body as possible? I like mountain biking and taking my dogs running -- I don't think they are too strenuous, and obviously there's some fat burning benefit. But if my legs/core need the time to repair muscle and prevent injury, I don't necessarily want to push it too hard.

Thoughts? Do you guys do cardio on rest days?

My rest days (today) I usually catch up on eating as much good food as possible and if I'm feeling restless I might do some cardio (aka never) or core/calves.
