You'll just look normal. If you run lift lighter weight/more reps to get cut

If your trying to bulk up and get a lot stronger don't run.

I teach common sense classes every Monday night.

Well, if you lift heavy your trying to build muscle mass, you'll need plenty of food to do this. Running will take valuable calories and you'll never really get too big or skinny.

Building muscle takes a surplus of calories. Burning fat takes a deficit of calories. In most cases.

The outcome depends on your diet. I'd continue to lift heavy if you want to keep your muscle mass if you are cutting.

1 mile should be your warm-up run when lifting. Same with 2 miles. Unless you run these in less than 5 minutes, I wouldn't consider it cardio.

if u want to look normal.

IF you want to get a big bulky look first gain like 20+ pounds. so you are like 170-180. then Cut and continue to run.

lifting heavy weights and running seem to negate each other you watch what you wanting to get strong but running burns calories which help you get big.

It depends on what you're after. If the purpose of running is cardio, then no, running 1 or 2 miles isn't going to do anything. A good cardio workout is when your heart rate is at least 85% of your max for 20-25 minutes.
