I would run on the days you don't lift, if your schedule allows for it. When I do roadwork it is the first thing I do when I wake up, I put on my shoes have a little coffee and hit the door.

I do a slight stroll for 5-8 minutes to up the heart rate before i lift. Then run for about 15 - 20 after my routine.

it's reccommend afterwards. If I remember correctly, Your body uses up it's glycogen stores during the lifting phase of your workout. When you run afterwards, it's using fat for energy.

Guys correct me if i'm wrong.

That depends on how you feel. Try both and see which you benefit from.

    I jog before my workouts.

If I'm doing legs I jog a shorter amount of time.

If you want to benefit from running, the running should be your workout. True what someone said about glycogen use during a lifting workout, but cardio afterwards will probably burn more muscle than fat.

    cardio? is that spanish? :mamoru:

I prefer running before as a warm up but full blown cardio I'll only do on days when I don't lift.

depends on if you want to lose weight or just be more fit.

if you want to lose fat id say to run before your workout rather than after because if you run after lifting all you will get rid of is the lactid acid stored in the muscles during lifting.

If that;s not the case run after the workout
