So I got few extra pounds on me that I need to lose..
I eat right , small portions , no junk food .. no soda , stopped drinking beer :wtc: ( biggest sacrifice for me )

    I run 3 miles per day + I play either basketball or soccer 2 - 3 times a week...

Is that enough cardio to lose 20 pounds quickly , and what else can I do to do it faster :wavey:

start working out again, you'll lose more weight

maybe try the trex/sesapure/gluc stack https://www.anafit.com/shop

or try one of the fat burning kits :dunno:

    drink lots of water, too.

bad idea, i don't know why everyone has this mindset all the time :dunno:

lifting weights is the best thing you can do for fat loss. supplement your weight training with SOME cardio, and most importantly proper diet.

cause I dont think I would see any results from doing crunches if I have a belly ... I dont know , I guess if I was in shape to begin with , I would see the results faster ..

you said SOME cardio... is running 3 miles a day enough with the weight lifting ?

nobody said anything about crunches. weight training, using mainly heavy compound lifts.

personally i think 21 miles a week is excessive. 30-40 minutes 4-5 days per week low intensity after weights, or even much shorter high intensity sessions should be fine, for some additional calorie expenditure and conditioning purposes.

They won't help you lose fat really, just build the abs underneath the fat, but it won't hurt to do them anyway.

would you train your chest or your back 5 days a week? train your abs the same way as you would your other muscle groups.

    Start lifting *now*

Start tracking your calories, watch your protein, don't pig out on junk- you'll be fine.

Yup, I saw the light and changed my ways. You should too!! I used to really enjoy going for a long cross country run on the trails back home but its lost its luster.

See, I'm doing the distance running stuff now because really heavy lifting lost it's luster  Did that for 3 years and just needed a change. I still lift, but my main focus is the running for now.

    I disagree. :hsd:

I ran over 110 miles this month (took a whole week off, so 110 over 3 weeks) and rode >900 miles. Lifted 19 days this month, too.
