    Is this a good beginner workout, 5 KM, (3 miles) a day..mon-fri?

Currently I can do it in 23 mintues, uphill on the way back though.

I want to get a descent cardio level before I start and other type of training, (i.e weight lifting)

I am trying to get back in shape...hopping it will help with confidence, depression etc..

It's okay, but I would add weights too... no reason not to and it will help.
